Booking Terms & Conditions
Thank you for booking with JL Property Management.
All bookings must be registered to an adult over 21, and a photo ID must be provided. A registered guest must be present at the property with other approved guests for the entire duration of their stay. Please note that all our holiday Properties are privately owned.
SECURITY DEPOSIT & CREDIT CARD AUTHORISATION FORMS
A security deposit of $200.00 is held at the time of booking, and a credit card authorisation form must be completed for all bookings.
JL Property Management reserves the right to make claims on the bond or credit card In the event that the property has been either damaged, whether such damage is wilful or not, or left in an excessively dirty or untidy state in the sole and absolute discretion of the agent may, without reference, enter a debit on the credit card (or not refund full security bond) in the event that the terms of the tenancy are broken.
BOOKING FEES & CREDIT CARD FEES
JLPM charges a $99.00 non-refundable booking fee on all bookings, this already included in your booking amount. A non-refundable credit card surcharge of 2.1% will be charged for all bookings paid for with either Mastercard or Visa.
If, for any reason, your payments are not received by the due dates, JL Property Management reserves the right to cancel your booking and apply appropriate cancellation charges.
PETS
Pets are only permitted in the designated pet-friendly properties. Any pest control required because of a pet inside and/or on the premises will be charged to the guest.
Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets both within and outside the property and any damage caused. Pets are not allowed on furniture at any time, any evidence of pets on furniture may incur extra cleaning fees.
CHECK-IN
Check-in is from 2:00 p.m. on the date of arrival. All Properties have a lock box with a code that will be sent to you via email or booking app on the day of arrival.
No more than the registered number of guests is to occupy the premises. It is against NSW Dept of Health regulations for more persons to occupy a property than there are beds to accommodate them. No extra mattresses are to be brought onto the property.
upon your arrival you are not happy with any aspect of the cleaning of your property, you must report this to our office together with photo proof within 48 hours of arrival, and the cleaning company will be contacted to return to the property to remedy the cleaning.
JLPM reserves the right to have the opportunity to remedy any issues and/or to have the property cleaned within a time frame of 24 hrs (Business days)
AFTER HOURS
Our after-hours Mobile number is for any issues accessing the property on arrival or emergencies only. Please use your booking portal for all other inquiries.
If the call is about a life-threatening situation, please ring 000.
KEYS
For security reasons, lost keys will incur a complete re-key of the locks at the guest’s expense, the cost of which is between $25 to $250 a set, depending on the property. An additional $150 plus GST will be charged for remotes that are lost or damaged.
Should a guest lock themselves out of the property, a $100.00 incl. GST call-out fee is applicable. If no agent is available after hours, you will have to contact a locksmith and pay them directly for the service at your own cost; there will be no reimbursement for this.
GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES
• The property must not be used for unlawful purposes; parties & Functions are strictly prohibited.
• All guests will be responsible for any damage to the premises or loss or damage to any items in the premises including furniture, kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery and fittings.
• All guests or their visitors must report damage to the property or its inclusions, other than fair wear and tear, to our office as soon as possible, and arrangements must be made to pay for the cost of repair or replacement.
• All guests are responsible for keeping the property secure during their stay and will be responsible for any theft or damage due to neglect in this area.
• All guests must properly conduct themselves so as not to cause a nuisance, including excess noise, or interfere with the use or enjoyment of the property for other occupiers or neighbouring properties.
• all guests must comply with the by-laws, rules, and regulations of the complex's Body Corporate.
• Smoking inside all properties is prohibited. Guests must discard cigarette butts into the rubbish bins. Cigarette butts discarded into garden beds may incur an additional charge for cleaning.
• Guests must leave the property clean and tidy. This includes emptying all internal rubbish bins, washing and drying dishes, emptying the dishwasher, emptying and cleaning of the refrigerator, oven/griller µowave, cleaning of the BBQ, leaving the beds neatly folded back, turning off all lights, cooling/heating and appliances.
• Council rubbish bin collection occurs weekly for general waste (red topped bins) & fortnightly for recycling (yellow topped bins) please place bin at the kerbside on bin pick up days and/or at departure time. A fee will be charged if any excess rubbish must be removed.
• Furniture is not to be moved around. Items should not be moved from room to room or property to property.
BBQ GAS REFILL
During your stay you need to replace the BBQ Gass, please take it to a swap-and-go service.
Send us a copy or your receipt with the name on the booking and your bank details for us to issue you with a refund to holidays@jlpm.com.au
If the property is not to your satisfaction upon check-in, please inform one of our holiday consultants within 2 hours of check-in. otherwise, they are deemed to have accepted the in condition of arrival.
CHECK OUT
Departure Checkout time is 10 am. All keys must be returned to the lock box provided at the property and code scrambled. Late departures will incur a fee.
Prior to departure from the property please remove all rubbish from the property and place in the appropriate bins, and bins are to be placed out for pick up.
Please leave the premises clean and tidy as an additional cleaning fee may be charged. The barbecue must be cleaned, or a fee of $110 will be charged for cleaning. Please empty the dishwasher, all dishes to be washed, dried, and put away. The property must be left secure, with all windows and doors closed and locked.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances including loss of deposit, cancellation of airline flights, cancellation fees, medical expenses and loss of any personal belongings during the stay.
PERSONAL PROPERTY
JLPM cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage of the Guest’s personal property either during the booked period or after the Guest departure. This includes but is not limited to loss from theft, damage due to equipment failure, damage caused by staff and contractors, or inability to retrieve lost property items left at the property. If items are left behind, guests are encouraged to report this to our office within 24 hours of departure, and we will do our best to retrieve these items. Guests will be required to reimburse JL Property Management for the postage cost.
No liability is accepted for any injury, debt, damage, loss, delay, expense, or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by events beyond the agent or owners’ controls. No responsibility is taken for guest’s property left on or near the premises. It is recommended that guests take out personal property insurance or adequate travel insurance should any unexpected situations arise before or during your travel period.
RENTAL RATE
Rental rates are current as per the website and are subject to change without notice. No responsibility is accepted for errors and omissions contained on all our marketing material. Please note that any verbal quote given is an estimate of price only which will be subject to written advice on confirmation of the reservation. In the case of date-altered bookings, the prevailing tariff at the time of change will be applied to new amended bookings.
EQUIPMENT BREAKDOWN
Equipment such as Air Conditioners, Swimming Pools, and electrical appliances are subject to breakdown, and sometimes, repairs are delayed. Please report any breakdowns as soon as you can. While every effort will be made to repair these items as quickly as possible, no guarantee of their availability or serviceability is given for the duration of a stay. No refund or reduction in tariff will be made for the non-availability of any of these items for any part of a stay.
INSPECTIONS
If JLPM believes that these Terms of the tenancy have been breached, JLPM may inspect the property at any time during your reservation upon demand and without notice. An after-hours callout fee of $100.00 incl may be charged to the guest for any situation requiring attendance at the property outside of business hours.
In the event the occupancy is terminated Guests must immediately vacate the property. JL Property Management is authorized to do whatever is required to enforce any guest's eviction and removal of the guest’s property.
PERSONAL INFORMAIONT PRIVACY ACT 1988
We use your personal information collected from you during the holiday booking process for security purposes. We may also use this information to contact you with respect to holiday specials and newly available properties via email, SMS, or phone. By providing this information, you agree to this unless you advise us differently. If this information is not provided, we may not be able to provide an effective service to you. Other than in circumstances allowed under the Privacy Act 1988, we do not disclose information of this kind to other parties. We store your information in Guesty, Property Me, and Stripe.
